.Care data and local-first storage
No account is required. Local-first describes how your .Care data is stored; it does not mean that no technical data can leave your device when advertising or other online services are used.
Your .Care plans, logged events, Stats and related personal data stay locally on your devices. Reduce.Care does not receive that content.
Apple Watch, widgets and their communication with the iPhone are part of the local Apple product ecosystem. Apple and the operating system may process technical information under their own terms; that is separate from Reduce.Care collecting your .Care data.
A CSV export is created locally when you ask for it. You then choose, through the device’s system options, where to save or send the file. The destination you choose may process it under its own terms.
Website and analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use and performance. Cloudflare describes it as privacy-focused analytics that does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics and does not fingerprint individuals for analytics reporting.
Cloudflare also provides network, hosting and security infrastructure. Like other internet infrastructure providers, it may process necessary technical data such as IP address, request and device information under its terms for delivery, reliability and security.
Contact messages
The contact form asks only for your email address and message. It does not ask for your name, phone number or marketing consent. Please do not include .Care history, health information, payment details or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
A submission passes through Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and spam protection, then a Reduce.Care Cloudflare Worker validates it, stores the email and message in a separate D1 database, and asks Resend to send a notification to [email protected]. The D1 contact table does not store your IP address, User-Agent or name.
Turnstile does not read the form fields. For its security function, Cloudflare may process signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent, browser or site information and the site key or origin under the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Purposes and legal bases
- We process your email and message to answer your request and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- We rely on legitimate interests to protect the form and service, prevent spam and abuse, troubleshoot delivery, and keep proportionate records of correspondence.
- We may retain or disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Providers and international transfers
Cloudflare provides website delivery, security, Turnstile, Worker and D1 infrastructure. Resend provides transactional email delivery. They process data only as needed for these services and under their applicable terms, privacy notices and data-processing arrangements.
Resend processes contact-notification emails in the United States. Its Data Processing Agreement includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and states that Resend participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where applicable, these mechanisms support transfers outside the European Economic Area.
How long we keep contact data
D1 contact records are assigned a 12-month expiry. The contact service purges expired records when it processes a valid submission; if no submissions occur, deletion may happen later. We may keep a specific conversation longer where it is still active or where retention is necessary for a legal obligation or legal claim.
Resend states that email data and logs on its Free, Pro and Scale plans are retained for 30 days. A message may also remain in the operator’s business mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to answer it, maintain appropriate records or meet legal obligations.
Advertising and protection of habit data
The product rule is that no .Care data may be shared with an advertising provider, alternative advertising system or advertiser, or used to select, personalize or target advertising. This includes name or type; cigarettes, vaping, alcohol, coffee, gaming or other habit information; Current, Target, Target Date, USED, PASS, MISSED and NEXT; plans, schedules, history, session duration and Stats; and any data derived from habit-related behavior. There must be no targeting based on these habits or behavior.
FREE may display advertising on the .Care screen. Google AdMob is the primary advertising provider, using Native Advanced ads with images or video. If an AdMob ad is unavailable, Reduce.Care may display an alternative ad, including promotion of our own products or advertising sold directly by us. ONE and MASTER are ad-free.
In the EEA, advertising consent will be handled using Google UMP or another Google-certified consent mechanism where required. Where consent or regional rules do not permit an advertising request, .Care will continue to work normally without that advertising.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data we hold about you. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your situation. Because app .Care data stays on your devices, we cannot access or delete it for you.
Send a privacy request to [email protected]. We may need enough information to verify and locate your contact record.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or another competent supervisory authority.
Children and young people
Reduce.Care has no account system and does not ask for age or parental-consent data. The app does not promote alcohol, tobacco, vaping or nicotine. Its App Store age rating is determined through Apple’s current age-rating questionnaire.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will remain on this page.
